The Service pillar of Schreyer for Women is dedicated to providing service opportunities to members that uplift women, trans and nonbinary individuals in a sustainable and thoughtful way. We emphasize meaningful and continuous service, and prioritize projects that serve our local community and make lasting impacts both for the people we serve and for the members that give their time and energy.

Being able to help the local Centre County community, as well as uplift our own members, is central to the Service pillar’s mission. If you have any ideas for service projects or ways to get involved with the community, please let us know! We value member input and want to do as much as possible to uplift and serve the greater PSU community.
Programming Includes...
We have a variety of different events each year for members to take part in with both long-term weekly commitments, and one-time unique service projects. Our projects include high school college advice panels, our partnership with Days for Girls at Penn State, tutoring elementary school kids with OCCCDA, helping local Girl Scouts earn badges, and more!
